Dance & Tumble for Kids (ages 2 – 7 years) – Let’s have some fun learning the basic elements of tumble and dance. Tumble is so beneficial to dance as it teaches flexibility, balance, and risk-taking.

Acro for Dance (ages 8+) – This class will teach kids fundamental acrobatics that are fit for dance. This exploration of jumps, leaps, turns, and body bending will help dancers increase flexibility, improve balance, and take more risks as dancers.

Open Level Dance Classes – all open dance classes are for current students in Level 1 and up as well as open to Adults.  These classes will be for maintaining dance training and learning choreography to enhance performance skills.

Dance on Camera Summer Intensive with Kara "KJ" Wade

Earlier this year we had a visit from Kara “KJ” Wade.  She taught an Afrobeats class and we had a blast.  We have invited her back for a more in depth intensive with our students.  This class is recommeded for ages 8 and up.  Learn more about KJ Wade here.

The intensive dates are July 5 - 7, 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. More about the Intensive...

CAMERA PERFORMANCE: Teaching students how to dance on camera, this begins with choreography and then adjusting for spacing to be on set, training endurance for multiple takes and learning terminology for camera work and filming.  We will film and then watch playback so students can see and critique themselves in the area of performance, presentation, direction and more.

CREATIVE DIRECTING: This intensive will be about making dance films and concept videos. Students will go over casting, shot lists & treatments, scouting locations, costume & formations, breaking choreography into scenes and how to direct the cast & crew to get shots accomplished. They will review editing tips or what software is needed to edit (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition, Color Correcting etc.) and how to establish a production team: music composer, sound engineer, videographer, editor, etc.

The cost to attend is $373 per student.  Payment plans are available.  Contact us to set yours up!
